2005 Ducati Monster 620 Dark
Ducati introduced the Monster in 1993 and it quickly became the brand’s most popular bike, accounting for more than half of all sales in several years following its release.
This 2005 Ducati Monster 620 Dark was purchased new by its current owner, and it shows 2,200 miles. It is finished in Nero Opaco and is powered by a 618cc SOHC L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission. Equipment includes black-finished Brembo 17″ three-spoke wheels, Brembo brakes, a black two-up seat, an inverted Showa fork, a trellis frame, a desmodromic valvetrain, a dual-muffler exhaust system, and a side stand. Fluids services were performed in May 2024.
The bodywork is finished in Nero Opaco and mounted over a tubular steel trellis frame. Features include a black two-up seat, a clear windscreen, side mirrors, folding passenger footpegs, a single round headlight, and a side stand.
The black-finished Brembo 17″ three-spoke wheels are mounted with Pirelli tires. Suspension components include a 43mm inverted Showa fork as well as an adjustable Sachs-Boge monoshock connected to the box-section swingarm. Braking is from black-finished Brembo calipers mounted over dual drilled rotors up front and a single drilled rotor at the rear.
The alloy handlebar is secured aft of instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and an 11k-rpm Magneti Marelli tachometer along with a bank of indicator lamps and a pair of inset LCD screens. The digital odometer indicates 2,200 miles.
The air-cooled 618cc SOHC L-twin features a desmodromic valvetrain, an electric starter, and a dual-muffler exhaust system.
